Revelation of the Jubilee Instrument “Republika”

Years full of eights at the end. Even the world-known firm PETROF from Hradec Králové attended the celebrations “100 Years of Czechoslovakia”. What else can a factory producing acoustic pianos present to the general public than a jubilee instrument, designed for this significant anniversary with love and precision?

This piano called “Republika” was made under the supervision of Ing. Ivan Vaculík at the company’s Development Department.

Come to join us! Apart from the new model, we have also prepared for you a thematic corner called “What it was like in PETROF during the First Republic”. Our barmans have prepared special drinks for this issue. You can look forward to the mixed drink called “Rychlé šípky” (Rapid Rose Hips – in referrence to “Rychlé šípy”, i. e. Rapid Arrows, a remarkable literary work of the Czech First-Republic writer Jaroslav Foglar), “T. G. M.” (initials of Tomáš Garrigue Masaryk, the first president of Czechoslovakia) or the drink “První koruna” (First Crown).
