František Nedvěd is one of the most important celebrities of Czech country music, and he is headed to the PETROF Gallery. Together with the Tie Break band, they will show you the best of the golden era of Czech folk and country. During the evening you will hear hits from the most famous tramp songs, country and folk from the life-long works of not only František Nedvěd but also Gordon Lighfoot, Don Williams, Jan Nedvěd or collaborator Dušan Vančura of Spiritual Quintet.
František Nedvěd
František Nedvěd, leader of the group, has been active in the artistic field since 1974. He and his brother Jan Nedvěd started in the Brontosaurs group. In 1975 they started to cooperate with the Spiritual Quintet. During its time they had the most significant triumph. Their Strahov concert in 1996 was attended by about 70,000 spectators. In 1998, Nedvěd Brothers broke up after six years. Then, the group The Druhé Podání was formed under the leadership of F. Nedvěd. In January 2008, F. Nedvěd also breaks up with the Druhé Podání group. Now, he is accompanied by the band Tie Break, where you can find musicians of well-known names such as Petr Kocman, Vojta Nedvěd or Milan Plechatý. He continues to work with the Tie Break band in the present.
