Antonín Petrof Concert Series 2019

Be part of one of the most important events of PETROF Gallery. This years event will consist of four grand pianos, of very top pianists will perform – Anatol Zatin with Vlad Vassiliev and Ema Jedlička Gogov with Sara Medková. Each duo will be shown separately. This unique project offers an unforgettable experience where four top pianists, four pianos meet at the same time, in the same place, and hear four J. Bach Bach concerts for one, two, three and four grand pianos.

The ticket price includes a welcome drink and a small snack.

Program:
The evening will be filled with the music of J.S. Bach and his compositions for one, two, three and four pianos.

Anatoly Zatin
He is a composer, pianist, orchestral conductor, and a teacher. He was born in the USSR and, in 1996, received a Mexican citizenship. He spends most of his time in Mexico. He was born into a family of musicians and started his career at the age of three. In 1990, Zatin was awarded by UNICEF for his work as a pianist and orchestral conductor. In 1996 he founded Anatoly Zatin International Music Academy (AIMAZ) in Guadalajara, Jalisco. Since 2001 he has been a professor at the University of Colima. He is a part of Duo PETROF with pianist Vlada Vassilieva, founded in 2003.

Vlada Vassilieva
She is a pianist of Russian origin, living in Mexico. She earned the 2010 Nadia Reisenberg award in New York City. Since 2003, together with Anatoly Zatin, they make Duo PETROF, with which they represent the PETROF company around the world. She has received many awards worldwide.
In 2017 and 2018, together with Anatoly Zatin, Silvia Navarrete and Jorge Federico Osori, she taught under Ricardo Castro, President of the National Institute of Fine Arts.

Sara Medkova:
Sara Medkova is one of the leading Czech pianists of the young generation. He focuses mainly on two areas – the interpretation of 20th and 21st century music, when he premiered dozens of contemporary compositions, many of which were composed directly for her, and for J.S. Bach. She has performed more than twenty European states and a number of stages in the US, Asia and Africa. Her profile CD, De Profundis, has received a warm response from listeners and the public.

Ema Jedlicka Gogova:
Czech-Macedonian pianist, teacher, art director of ICLife, organizer, publisher. She began her musical career at the age of nine. She quickly grew into a passion that drew her deeper into the music and art of piano play. Her fascinating energy in performing songs has always been breathtaking. During her studies, she worked with prominent teachers such as Ikuko Endo, Anton Dikov, Edith Picht Axenfeld, Norma Fisher, and had solo recitals, concerts with orchestra and radio and TV recordings. She has performed in many countries in Europe and Canada, as a soloist, as a chamber musician and with orchestras.
