Concert PETROF
Let’s enjoy a concert by Czech singer Martin Chodur and his band MACH. Their new concert program “10 years on stage” will be introduced to the audience of Hradec Králové on 29 October 2019 at PETROF Gallery.
The concert is a celebration of the singer’s 10th anniversary on a stage of Czech and Slovak pop music. Martin Chodúr was the first to win the talent show Czech and Slovakia Superstar, which is based on Britain’s Pop Idol, on the 20th December 2009. More so, Martin is going to be thirty years old on 24 November this year. During the new concert program, he and his band will perform their most successful songs from Martin’s four solo albums and his favorite songs of foreign provenance.

Martin Chodúr:
He is a Czech singer, composer, songwriter, and musician. Martin Chodúr was the first to win the initial year of the competition Czech and Slovakia Superstar in 2009. Since then, he is one of our most versatile singers of young generations. After Superstar, Martin Chodúr showed a wide range of genres throughout his repertoire, even opposite genres. He focuses not only on pop and rock but also swing, musicals, chanson, and movie soundtracks. He does not hesitate to extend his range to other genres. For example, in collaboration with DJ Eddie Sender, he sang the summer dance song Better We Dance. In addition to his inborn talent and musicality, he has the extraordinary technical equipment and a voice of multi-layered color and a four-octave range. Since 2009, the Czech pop music has a singer of such possibilities and vocal flair and versatility as Karel Gott, Waldemar Matuška, Karel Hála or Karel Černoch.
