If you recall a beetle or a straw of grass in giant detail under the word macro photo, then this exhibition will bring you a completely different point of view on this photographic discipline.  Exhibit photographs are an abstract expression of physical process that we all commonly encounter, and that is a melting of ice. They capture unique moments when ordinary things, live flowers or just a water turn to a frozen beauty when properly illuminated.

Vladimíra Polášková

Artist living in Havířov, where she teaches mathematics and physics at the local grammar school. She has been devoted to photography as an amateur since 2014, focusing on macro photography with unusual specialization, which is based not only on a physical experiment, but also on an endless journey of searching and discovering…
