PETROF Gallery Winning ‘Building of the Year’ Title in Hradec Králové Region
From this day on, the trade and cultural centre PETROF Gallery can pride itself on receiving the title ‘Building of 2018 in the Hradec Králové Region’.
The ceremonial result announcement of the 15th regional Building of the Year was held this morning in the Research Library in Hradec Králové. This year, there were 13 buildings competing for the title with PETROF Gallery winning the prize. This project aims to support the cultural and social development of the region, participate in music education and spread the good reputation of the PETROF company.
Reaching this goal and meeting the needs of all customers and visitors are the main purposes of the pianosalon of supranational significance, the musical café and the multipurpose hall in PETROF Gallery. The PETROF Factory has been in Hradec Králové for almost 155 years and is an integral part of the city. The PETROF Gallery project should enrich the cultural environment of the city and spread the values of the Petrof family. See more information about the project.
The general supplier of the PETROF Gallery construction was the company STATING s.r.o. under the leadership of Ing. Pavel Hurych. The project’s authors are Ing. Janis Vlachopulos and Ing. Arch. Vladimír Lavrík from the company ADONIS PROJEKT, spol. s r.o.
‘Remarkable and original by their architectonical interpretation and technical solution, excellently incorporated into their surroundings. Such are the contestant buildings participating in the competition. I am very pleased that there are so many of them emerging in our region every year, and I believe that this competition makes a significant contribution towards it,’ says the regional council president Jiří Štěpán, who was handing over the awards.
