“Republika” Revealed
On 19 September 2018 at the premises of the musical café PETROF Café, the family-owned firm PETROF revealed a jubilee instrument produced for the opportunity of the 100th anniversary celebrations of establishing Czechoslovakia.
The construction of the upright piano called “Republika” (Republic) lasted nearly one year. For its manufacturing, specially selected materials were used in decor for the theme of the republic’s anniversary. The instrument was revealed precisely at 19:18 by the hand of PETROF’s CEO, Zuzana Ceralová Petrofová, and Director of the PETROF Museum, Ivana Petrofová, in the presence of Ivan Vaculík, Research and Development Manager.
