PETROF Art Family Concert

We invite you to the concert of the exceptional pianist Matyáš Novák from Hradec Králové, who will sound the Antonín Petrof hall. He prepared compositions by Franz Schubert for the summer evening. Make the summer evening more enjoyable with the romantic PETROF piano.

Dear listeners, I have only recently begun to play the compositions of Franz Schubert in larger extent, and this became a new love. My favourite Ferenc Liszt spoke about Schubert as „ the most poetic of all musicians “. This is because Schubert´s work is characterized by an extraordinary ability to capture lyrical and romantic moods and a great sense of melody. I will be glad if you will accept my cordial invitation to the concert composed of Schubert´s breathtaking works. If you will visit the PETROF Gallery on 31^st August, we will move together to Vienna at the beginning of the 19^th century.

The most demanding compositions of the Romantic period are significant for Matyáš. He is able to win the audience thanks to the amazing feeling for the gradation of concert. Especially when interpreting Ferenc Liszt´s work, he lets stand out fully his technical brilliance and precision. Therefore, it is not surprising that he is a regular winner of many national and international competitions. And just one of his last first places at BRADSHAW & BUONO INTERNATIONAL PIANO COMPETITION opened him the door to the world´s most famous music hall, the Carnegie Hall, where he performed in May 2017.
